About our surf retreat
We’re not a surf camp, we’re a surf retreat! What is the difference? Our goal is not just to prepare your body for surfing but also your mind and your spirit. Surfing is a sport but it can also be used as a mindfulness practice.
We use a variety of resources: healthy diet, yoga, meditation, breath exercise, and more. These tools have the power to help you with your surfing as well as with your personal life.
Surfing and Yoga have a mutual influence on one another. Both practices fill your life with joy, balance,and inner peace. Our 7 day retreat was developed to raise your vibration and reconnect with yourself and the ocean.
Huanchaco offers waves all year long for surfer of all levels, from beginners to advanced surfers, for longboarders and shortboarders.
The town has a magical vibe. It is surrounded by majestic mountains and ancient ruins, such as Chan Chan or El Brujo. Huanchaco offers a variety of surf spots, restaurants and nearby tourist attractions.
December to March is the Peruvian summer which brings tropical heat to the coast and causes the ocean to warm up. It’s the only time of the year when surfers don’t need to wear a wetsuit for their sessions.

- 7:20 – 8:00 – 30 min wake up yoga + 10 min meditation
- 8:00 – 9:00 – breakfast
- 9:30 – 10:30 – surf basics – theory + practice on the ground
- 10:30 – 12:30 – surf lesson & practice
- 13:00 – 14:00 – lunch
- 15:00 – 17:00 – surf practice
- 19:00 – 19:30 – breathwork & meditation for better concentration
- 19:30 – 20:30 – dinner
- 20:30 – evening program
